Customisation

We’ve carefully crafted our gel based ice to allow for personal customisation. Using a knife the gel ice can be cut into any shape and a heat gun can smooth the edges of the ice or create partially melted ice. When the heat source is removed the state of melting will stop immediately and remain until you want it to change.

If you require a custom size of ice or a custom shape, you can simply cut an ice block into your desired configuration.

Want to melt your ice cubes to a particular level or show the passage of time, you can use a heat gun. When you have achieved the perfect level simply remove the heat and the ice will re-solidify. Want a glass-like finish to the surface of your glass? apply a quick bit of head using a heat gun or even a hair dryer to “polish” the surface of the ice. Want drips? Apply heat using a heat gun to the ice above a surface and the drops will solidify on the surface and remain in place for as long as you need. This process also allows for you to

Want the ice to be cloudy or need to quickly made it fit a shape? simply pour hot water over it to melt it so it can be moulded by hand.

Want to start from scratch? You can melt your ice and recast it at any time using an oven. Simply heat it to 120-130C and pour it into a metal or heat resistant mould. Note that a silicone mould will make the ice cloudy which you may or may not desire.
